A great slow downer will all the useful controls and no fuss

This app has all the controls and functionality I was using in Capo. When I upgraded to Yosemite I was unable to use my previous software and would have had to buy it again, so I started searching for a replacement.
This one is perfect.
Control on speed and tuning is pretty good.
The zoom control helps finding sections very precisely.
The volume control allows me to set a comfortable mix between my instrument (amplified through GarageBand) and the track I am studyng.
Setting and editing the loop is very easy. The loop region is hilighted with a shade very similar to the rest of the song and this is the only improvement I would ask for to the developer. Moving the loop is extremely easy and does not require to grab handles.
As a bonus I would not have asked for, the modified song can be exported to be loaded on a different player at the modified speed and tonality. A feature that might be useful.
There is no need to save a project, because the recent files list can be used to get back to one of the songs on which I am working. The list can be cleared when it becomes too large or outdated.
To top the bill, the app is not expensive and sells for a fraction of the price of similar software.
In other words this app completely fits the bill for me and allows for a good saving. Five stars, strongly recommended.
